Tile resets are the most common form of replacement done on tile roofs. The Great thing about tile resets is that you can get your roof replaced without getting the tiles replaced saving you a large chunk of money. Without having to worry that your roof will leak within the next 20 -25 Years. It Involves Removing the tiles and stacking them on the roof to be saved for later use . Repairing any damaged wood on the roof deck .Replacing the old underlayment and installing new synthetic underlayment. Replacing all the metals on the roof such as metal valleys, pipe flashings and metal drip edge. Also all broken tiles get replaced so if theres a few cracked and you need to get the roof fixed no worry we can replace the few cracked and keep the ones that are still good. Silicone sealing a roof is one of the best and most reliable options for Flat roofs. There 35-40% less than doing a Flat roof replacement and last you just as long. Reason why not everybody does these is we have to do it while the current asphalt torch (Flat roof material) is still in relatively good condition and still has most of the asphalt granules. Another great thing thing about silicone seals is they come with a 20 year warranty from ASC the manufacturer of the silicone. The job process is quite short taking only 2 - 3 days to do. It starts by powerwashing and cleaning off the current roof then applying the silicone primer followed by the silicone itself
Asphalt shingle re roofs are the most common job we do. Asphalt shingle roofs or Sometimes known as composition shingle roofs. Are the most common roof in America they last around 20 - 30 years and are very reliable. Some signs that you need to be replaced is the roof will start to have a shine to it where the nylon is starting to show through the asphalt. You'll notice discoloration in the shingles and rusting around the flashings. You will also notice asphalt granules in the gutters and the most for sure sign is leaks multiple leaks from rain away from any valleys or places where water can sit and in the center of the roof. Asphalt shingle roofs our a quick job that take between 5-6 days depending on simplicity and access. The job starts off by demoing all shingles, underlayment and roof metals. (Flashings, Metal Valleys, and drip edge) After that all damaged and rotted wood is replaced from the roof. You do NOT need to replace all the wood from the roof just the damaged and rotted an sections or or pieces. After that the city will do whats called a rough Sheeting inspection where they inspect the plywood and that it ready for a new roof. After that all the underlayment flashings and Shingles will be installed and the following day Final inspection will be done and thats the project!
Roof Redecks are a portion of a roofing job typically a asphalt shingle replacement and is done when a roof has wood shakes instead of plywood. Usually there are a layer or layers of Asphalt shingles above them. While doing this we Cover the attic with plastic covers and Garage with them as well. The process of a re-deck typically takes 2 days! 1 day of demolition 1 day of plywood installation after that roof is ready for inspection and to install Asphalt shingles or tiles whichever you may prefer. If you have wood shakes and our doing. a roofing project by building code you will have to do a re-deck. If you have a Flat roof you do not have woodshakes so no need for concern. And if you need to check if you have wood shakes you can do so by checking in your attic or garage ( if it is open beam ) to see if it has wood shakes
Flat roof and Asphalt torch down roofs are by one of the most difficult roofs to work on seconded only to extremely high pitch roofs. What makes them Difficult? well in all reality there not actually that difficult to do but the hard part is making sure everything is sloped for proper water run off and that there are no seams or overlaps where water can seep in sounds simple enough and it can be if you have experienced guys to do the job. But more often then not Details can get passed over which cause the roof to leak. We are absolute experts in making sure that doesn't happen. From building crickets for proper water run off to going up parapet wall we make sure the roof will not leak. The process for installation is very similar to a shingle roof but it involves no nails. The projects Starts off with demolition which goes pretty quickly we remove all underlayment Tar and torch-down as well as any metals on the roof. After that is Complete we repair and replace any damaged wood. Next the underlayment is installed which is rolled on as an adhesive called peel and stick. Next the Asphaltic rolls are then. Torched on to the roof creating a waterproof barrier.
New tile instalations
New tile installation is just that New tile installation it is a quick and easy project with the only hiccup typically being the tile you want being in stock. It starts off with demo of the old tile or shingles with removal of the underlayment and roof metals than involves plywood repairs and preparation. It is a important note to remember that if your roof wasn't originally a tile roof you will have to use lightweight tiles. If a house is not built for that type of weight of standard tiles the roof could cause structural damage. With that in mind after demolition and wood repairs have been done the new synthetic underlayment is installed and roof metals than the new tile is installed after that wallah you have a new roof.
